Mid- June has finally pushed the S&P 500 into "Bear Market" territory. While the term sounds scary and complex, it's really just a technical term. A bear market is defined as a market decline of 20% or more from a market high. While most diversified portfolios will likely not be down to these levels, I think it's an important moment to stop to put bear markets in perspective.
